There's enough of it, I mean. I have so much on the needles right now, partly because I haven't found a cable needle yet. I guess I could try the "without a cable needle" thing, and I may start that out in a bit, but I'm just not... ready. And that does not make me a wuss.
The exciting news? I think that there's a new yarn shop two short blocks from my house, so I'm going to check there for a cable needle in the morning. I didn't get one on Friday because I didn't make it to Boyz Night, due to some work problems.
Anyhow... I'm happy because next week, my favorite little kiddos will be coming over to the States from London, so I'll be headed over to Ohio to see them. If I needed yarn, I could do that there, too, but I think that I have enough for a while!
And that's the Monday update from here. Comment Poll: Which Knit Blog are you going to visit next? I'm curious, so share, share, share!
Posted by Jon at April 10, 2006 01:02 AMProbably Wendy's. Sucks to get behind on reading her blog and I don't have time to catch up on everybody right now!
Posted by: Laura at April 10, 2006 02:49 AMKing Of All Remote Controls. I'm going in order as they appear on my sidebar since I have a lot of time this morning.
Posted by: Phyl at April 10, 2006 07:20 AMI'm heading of to Wendy Knits, too! Just read Yarnharlot.
Why don't you use a double point needle for your cable needle? I do that all the time because then I can have my "cable needle" be the same size as my knitting needles.
I'm headed to Knit and Tonic next. I go alphabetically every am! ;}
Posted by: kc at April 10, 2006 08:02 AMI will visit Dogs Steal Yarn next.
Posted by: Sarah at April 10, 2006 09:13 AMMason-Dixon Knitting; it's all alphabetical. The blogs on my bloglines are in alphabetical order and that is the next one that has been updated.
Posted by: someone at April 10, 2006 05:18 PMstring-or-nothing's blog for a technical update
Posted by: Donna at April 11, 2006 06:08 PMHummm, I did try to reply to this yesterday. The internet ate my post!
Next on my list after you is "nonaKnits". I do read the "big names" - Wendy, Yarn Harlot and Gumperia for example, but I comment more on the lesser known blogs for some reason. Probably because I dislike leaving "me too" type comments.
Re the order I read blogs in - there's no order what so ever to my list. Total and utter chaos - rather like the stash baskets.
