Decreases

So I have added the arm steeks. And I even had two rows where I got to do armhole shaping. There's one more to go.

And then, guess what? I get to knit straight through to the neck shaping.

There are two options: Knit something else for a while, or keep on trucking through Zauberflote.

My worry is that if I put Z aside that I might never pick her up again, and I really do want to finish this sweater.

In other news, I need to figure out when my class will be. I'm really excited about the idea of teaching how to do this kind of knitting!

In other, other news, egads, I can't believe what's going to happen if the MTA really strikes. Talk about making life difficult...

Wow, that was a really boring entry, wasn't it?

OK, then let's have a question, and you can post your answers in the comments, ok? Here's the question du jour:

What do you hope you get for Christmas/Hanukah/Chrismakuh/Kwanzaa/Winter Solistice/Whatever Else you Might Choose to Celebrate? And you're not allowed to say "My two front teeth."

What do I hope I get for Christmas/Hanukah/Chrismakuh/Kwanzaa/Winter Solistice/Whatever Else I Might Choose to Celebrate (i.e., Festivus)?

A large niddy-noddy.

Boring, no?

Some wonderful yarn, maybe the new book "Stitchionary", something that I can work into a project. I went to my LYS and told the owner that if a member of my family were to come in - point them to the expensive stuff! It's not that I'm greedy, it's just that I don't tend to splurge too much on cashmere, silk (ok, let's not talk about Artfibers purchase) or alpaca.

My mother would always answer "peace and quiet" when we'd ask what she wanted. Now that I'm older, that's what I wish for also.

Hope the MTA stike is over swiftly!

Ah, peace and quiet, sign me up for some of that please. I have 3 children who are 2, 3, and 4 years old I would love, love, love some peace and quiet.

I was invited to my Granny's for Christmas Day and that's all I really wanted. So anything else is icing on the cake or holiday cookie!

Will you post your Christmas/Hanukah/Chrismakuh/Kwanzaa/Winter Solistice/Whatever Else you Might Choose to Celebrate wish? and yours can't be for the MTA strike to be over. I do hope it ends quickly.
