It's been a while since you saw Zauberflote trouncing around San Francisco, and, well, she's grown. So I thought you might like to see another photo of how big she's gotten...

In other news, can we just complain for a brief moment about people who "Probably think that song is about them"? I was at the opera tonight, and a woman stepped on my foot as she was passing over to get to her seat. So she said, "Sorry."
And the guy next to me, whose feet had not been trodden upon, said, "No problem."
I wanted to smack him. I wanted to smack him even more when he kept yelling "Bravo!" when he should have been yelling "Bravi!" or "Brava!" (Or just plain being quiet; the opera wasn't that great...)
Welcome back home and to the knitting world. Wow, you are doing such a beautiful job on the sweater!
Posted by: Jackie at November 11, 2005 10:28 AMOooh! Lovely!
Excellent work.
(And you'd probably just DIE at the Pittsburgh operas; standing ovations are standard. Whatever the hell has gone on.)
Posted by: Anne at November 11, 2005 05:27 PMcongrats on your knit-blog celebrity. And Zauberflote looks absolutely amazing - I am always so totally impressed by that caliber of knitting because to me, it looks like torture! Pretty, but torture just the same.
Posted by: elaine at November 14, 2005 11:33 AMBeautiful work. I'm looking forward to taking a Fair Isle class at Stitches West so I can attempt similar projects with confidence. Or at lease more confidence.
Question for you--why does it say "Blogging, not knitting" next to the link to my blog on your sidebar? Don't get me wrong, I'm completely thrilled that you've linked to me! Just wondering, that's all.
Have a great day!
