I didn't vote yesterday. I usually vote. Heck, I even voted in the primary for this election, and then not even in the main election. And I always vote. Well, clearly not always. And I don't really feel guilty about it. But I simply didn't particularly care about either of the candidates. They're both just... well... whatever, you know?
So I got some extra sleep, and you can't beat that, now can you?
It prepared me for the point in Rosetta tonight where I realized, at least 100 stitches too late, that I'd flubbed a part of the pattern and had to tink back. But it's done and the row is finished and now I get to go to bed. Yay!
Posted by Jon at November 9, 2005 02:02 AMIn who? Rosetta? At least you only tinked 100 stitches instead of 6,000! Cause then you might be thinking, God, take my legs and I'll run a marathon - but I can't tink 6,000 stitches. heh
Posted by: Laura at November 9, 2005 10:53 AMI voted yesterday--I always vote too. There weren't any really important or pressing issues in my little corner of BFE. The main reason that I wanted to vote was this was the first time Ohio used the electronic voting machines. What a hoot it was to watch people in my rural farming community trying to figure out the machines. I didn't mind having to wait I was thoroughly enjoying the show.
