See? She needed something hand made

Her mom was all about setting up the photo shoot once I explained the magic of the knitting blog! That means, my friends, that you get to finally see this long awaited photo!

Oh, and you probably want some proof that I was really in Africa? Here you go:

Now I'm going to try and sleep a bit more so that I'm not too jet lagged tomorrow. Hope I succeed!

AWWWW!!! All that work was (probably) worth it - although I'm still convinced you were crazy!

What, no intarsia blankets for the cheetahs?

Yup, that picture makes all of that work worth it. And thanks for the big kittie picture, too.

Yay, you're back! I demand that we meet now.

Welcome back--have a good nap!

She is just lovely. The blanket is wonderful, as are the cats. Thanks for sharing.....

You are so right - she definitely needed a blanket... she looks so peaceful in it. :)

Those cheetahs are amazing!!

Finally you are back !
Rosetta was a very nice blanket but it looks so much better with the baby inside !

That is one beautiful baby wrapped in a blanket of love.

I just thought that blanket was beautiful---seeing the baby all cuddled up inside was definitely an awwwwwwww moment. I look forward to seeing more photos from your adventure in Africa.

Welcome back...

Yea...you are back. Love the pictures - from babies to wild animals...I am certain that there is a connection there!

The blanket looks AWESOME! And the baby, too cute!

Awesome Rosetta & Baby! Really cool pics of cheetahs!

I'm just wondering...what yarn did you use for the baby and the cheetahs? :-)

Nah, it's good to have you back in NYC, safe and knitting on more baby blankies! I'm always astounded by your perseverence, creativity, and impeccable timing.

P.S. Cute self-pic awhile back in July - don't be self-conscious! Put it out there. *hehehe*
