For Your Consideration

SSS 2-26-05.jpg

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a photograph of the well known yet extremely reclusive Seed Stitch Scarf. This may be the first time said scarf (along with much beloved turned wood needles) has presented itself to the camera. While the scarf is longer than it was at the beginning of the evening, it's still not long enough.

That's gorgeous yarn and seed stitch really shows it off. How many skeins are you using to make the scarf?

I've been lurking here for awhile, but this lovely project made me want to say hello. The scarf is beautiful and I just love seed stitch.

Thanks, ladies! Donna: It's three skeins of Colinette Prism, in Cardinal.

Thanks for the skein info, Jon. I have been trying to think of who I know that has criminal instincts in NYC and would be willing to figure out where you live and steal the scarf for me because it is too gorgeous and those colors are my favorites. I think the credit card just may have to take one for the team instead.

I left my knitting on a friends side table while we went to lunch one day.. not knowing her dog was in the house. We came back to find my beloved needles in splinters with yarn shreds tangled up in them. After the tears past I tried replacing my needles (us size 7) with no luck.. because I can't justify paying 40 dollars or more for them on eBay when thier listed
*sigh*
