I swear, that's exactly how much yarn was left at the end of this row. It's like the bare minimum amount required for weaving in, at least in my opinion... How lucky was I that I didn't run out 14 stitches before the end of the row? I mean, I know how to change yarn in the middle of a row now, if I have to, but I don't like when I have to.
Anyhow, I now have 37 rows left on this sleeve. I'm off from work tomorrow but I have opera tickets in the evening, and probably another trip to the bank in the afternoon, so I'm not sure how much knitting I'll get done, but I'll try.
And yes, the bank thing is a reference to the fact that someone tried to scam me out of thousands of dollars, which is not fun. I'd rather be knitting, let me tell you...
Posted by Jon at December 15, 2004 01:54 AMOof--I read the story on your main blog. I'm so paranoid about stuff like this--do you have any idea how it happened? I hope it's resolved soon.
Posted by: Em at December 15, 2004 07:36 AMOoh, the rush of living close to the edge! I tried the "knit two strands together for a couple of stitches" method of joining new yarn on the baby hat I did last month, and it just didn't feel right (as in verrry lumpy).
Could your identity theft problems have anything to do with those trips to Jesusland?
