The Countdown Continues

Eight more rows last night. That, in and of itself, seemed to be quite an accomplisment at the time. Why, you ask?

Well, the yarn I'm using is not the softest, cushiest yarn, and since I'm a pretty tight knittter, well... (Have you seen the part where I told you that my gauge on this project is 8.33 stitches per inch - on US8 needles?) So my left hand was kind of cramping up for a bit last night, but luckily it started to feel better after a few rows. I do not want or need a knitting related injury!

I've got a really bad case of startitis going on though, and I am almost contemplating just starting the front of the sweater so that I have two pieces to work on. It might allevieate my startitis but I know it won't cure it. I really need to be getting some projects done, though. Well, we'll all see what happens come Monday!

The blue aran you have on the needles is absolutely beautiful. Would you please e-mail me with the details of the pattern, where to get it, and so on.

I like your site, and have book marked it for future visits.

Love your blog! I also am in love with the baby blanket you made in April (and, yes, the beautiful baby makes the blanket spectacular). I have been looking for "the" baby blanket for four months to knit for my first nephew. This is completely and absolutely it. The problem? Yarn Co. won't sell the pattern separate from the yarn. Thats some pricey yarn. Can you email when you have the opportunity?
