So it's highly unlikely that this will be ready for gifting on Saturday, especially given that I have to go to a funeral in Coney Island tomorrow, but still, it's a nice gift-in-progress. And who ever has knitted things done on time? Unless it's a harlot who's headed for a yarn festival?

I think it's gorgeous as well. It'd take me forever and a day to do that project. Besides, you have up to a year to give a gift....or is it you have up to a year to send out thank you notes? Sigh. I got married in Vegas...I don't know wedding etiquette! :)

Beautiful throw. I knit the ivory colorway--in stripes--for my MIL. Yours looks lovely in the feather and fan.
