T.G.M.I.F.

Thank God Mercury Is Finished:

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a lovely scarf, and I got many kudos today at Knit NY when I took it in to discuss details of weaving in loose ends with ribbon yarn show it off.

The question now is, which of my many WIP's do I pick back up? I assume it's going to be PPD. We'll all find out soon!

In the meantime, I'm going back to Ohio tomorrow morning, and I won't be back home til Thursday. So whatever knitting I take with me had better be easy travel knitting (and I don't really think any of my current WIP's are all that simple, so I may take the Kureyon I recently purchased and start a multidirectional scarf even though it's getting to be spring...)

Thats beautiful. I really like how that came out, is it knit or woven? The multi directional scarf in noro kureyon is a fun project. I made one of those awhile back ago and its fun to see how the colours work with the triangular shapes that form.

That's really lovely.

I sew the ends in/down with matching sewing thread with ribbon or tape yarns. yarns.

Your scarf looks great. Have fun with the multidirectional scarf pattern, they are addictive.

Thanks, y'all.

Antonio, the yarn is a BITCH to work with, but it does make a loverly scarf, so, I leave it at your choice.

James: Where did you get the idea it'd be woven? I have no loom-ification going on in this blog! Although I don't mean any disrespect to the wonderful world of weaving. I just don't have room for it in my house.

Emma: Great. Now I have to go get 5 colors of sewing yarn...

Re the multi-direction scarf: I enjoyed making the first one I did (which was a gift and is no longer in my possesion but was made from Prism "Wild Stuff" and is a super-cool scarf and its recipient went wild for it... and I have a LOT of things to make before I tackle the Kureyon...
