Have any of you seen this? It's hysterical and he's really cute.
And they say it's an "equal opportunity site." Hm....
I'm going to the Hamptons! (Not for three weeks, but still! The Hamptons, I tell you! Easthampton, no less.) I hope it will be fun. I imagine I'll even blog about it eventually...
Oh wait. Fuck... That's the night I have theatre tickets. Goddamn fuck fuck fuck.
Do you think that maybe Tom Cruise went off on Matt Lauer because he thought that Matt made a pass at him in the dressing room?
At first, I thought the only surprise would be that we were voted off the Olympic Island before Madrid was... I sort of thought we were in third place. Even though I really didn't want the games here.
But I really thought Paris would win. Not that I'm not excited about London. I mean, it's not like I'll be going regardless. I'm just pleased as punch that the games are not here.
One thing I don't get at all is that the Times's tone in the article seems genuinely surprised that we didn't get the games. I never understood why they pretended to be so enthusiastic about it. Honestly, I don't think I met anyone who lived in the City who were enthusiastic about it, except for some people from the mayor's office, and they're paid to be enthusiastic about it.
Yes, I know, I had a link to NYC2012 over there on my sidebar (I just removed it), but I posted it because there was a lot of gung-ho-ness in my work community (of course the hotel professionals want it... imagine the rate-gouging that could have gone on!) but I'm really glad we're not getting the games.
Hooray!
And I even got a ticket for "The Odd Couple," even though I'm not sure that I care. And even though it's for a matinee. In January. In the mezzanine...
Anyhow, tonight I'm seeing "Jewtopia." Hope it doesn't suck!
Brooke Shields rebuts Tom Cruise's "Toaday" show debacle -- with a column in the Times!
What next? "Free Brooke" t-shirts?
