In *$ the other day, I heard a woman actually ask the cash registerista what, exactly, was a latte.

Not being a coffee drinker myself, I'd actually be hard pressed to explain what a latte is. I think it's coffee with milk added somehow, but is something fancy done with the milk or is it just poured in?

I, like the woman you overheard, have no idea.
