OK, so it sucks. But it's going to be ok.
And there's still a lot we can do. Right? I mean, we have to boycott 13 states, and we have to kick the Democrapic party's ass so that we can pull it together and show the Red states that we have morals, and more imporantly, that we have tolerance and appreciate for people whose "values" are "different" than our own. We have to show the world that we, whether I'm talking about liberals or democrats or homos or just random people who don't like Bush, are sane people who have worthwhile opinions. And we have to show the bozos from the Red States why their xenophobic Bushophilia is bad for our nation.
So here's my idea. You know the annoying yellow bracelets for the Lance Armstrong Foundation? And now there are pink ones for breast cancer. Well, I think we need bright blue ones, to show that we're proud Blue Staters. (Or will that start to be too Star Bellied Sneetch?)
Anyhow, don't expect anything new here for a couple of days. I'm heading to Houston in the morning because, well, there's nothing like a college reunion in a red state to brighten one's weekend. Well, it'll be a nice change from New York City: everyone will be in a good mood...
